Emanuel Edward King service number 7503 enlisted into the army 10th of October 1917. Emanuel was attached to the 5th Battalion AIF and sent to Europe in particular to the Western Front. It was not long after he arrived to the Western Front he participated in the Spring Offensive in Belgium. 

Emanual King was wounded several times during his service and severely gassed resulting in repatriation to hospital in England.

 Emanual Edward King returned to Australia and discharged from the army on 13th of December 1919.
